new patients welcome Palm Harbor, FL

What to expect on your first visit

Dr. Levin will first listen in detail to your current health concerns as well as your past medical history as an important step in determining the underlying causes of your condition. He will ask you questions about your current problems and past health history to help pinpoint the nature of your health issue. While many patients have one primary complaint, be prepared to share with Dr. Levin any other problems as these may be related or could also benefit from care. Please bring any important medical records such as recent X-Rays or MRI reports.

You will then receive a thorough examination including postural analysis, neurological, orthopedic and chiropractic tests to determine any areas of spinal disfunction or other disorders. X-rays will often be taken to determine spinal misalignments, degenerative changes or disc wear or other diseases. If additional testing or consultation with another doctor is needed, this will be arranged.

Before beginning treatment, Dr. Levin will explain your examination results, show you any significant findings on your x-rays and recommend a treatment plan. He will answer any questions about your condition or treatment options. Treatment will often consist of spinal manipulation, massage. assited stretching or other physiotherapy as well as instuction in a home exercise/stretching program. Many patients also benefit from specific nutritional testing and recommendations. We carry a full line of hight quality phamaceutical grade supplements available only to physicians. These can also be ordered directly from the manufacturer from our on-line store.

Plan on spending one and a half hours in the office for the first visit to fully assess your health status and give you your first treatment.

We look forward to your first visit.
